Since 2015 we all knew about an onging court battle between Apple and Ericsson.

Both companies have been at war because of Apple demanding excessive royalties for LTE technology. Later that year, Ericsson and Apple settled that dispute.
This year however Apple and Ericsson sued each other again over 5G patents and equipment, which is very sad looking at how great both companies are.

The struggle ended when both companies accepted the new global patent license agreement which includes “global cross-licenses for patented cellular standard-essential technologies.”

We hope that Apple and Ericsson will now focus their attention on the new products they create, not on the fight that noe one needs or wants.
