Currently, the Sputnik-V vaccine is mandatory only for Russian military personnel. As for the remaining population, it is split in two; one group wants to vaccinate, another one does not. The other group’s concern is valid, as WHO has officially stated that the Russian vaccine has not been tested for long enough. Still, even those against taking the untested medicine are considering taking it after all. The reason is that they are afraid of repressions, both from the government and their own co-workers, if they refuse.
