A few days ago Microsoft have released the KB4482887 patch for the Windows 10 OS. Soon after installing it, Microsoft begun to receive multiple reports of users’ computers slowing down significantly. One video gamer have reported that before the update they could run Destiny 2 in 60 fps; after the update, their framerate dropped to 35fps. Such reports are, reportedly (ha, ha), pretty often. Microsoft acknowledged the issue and stated that its cause is probably NOT Reptoline, a new function brought in with the update that was supposed to improve PC’s peformances. Microsoft is working to fix the issue; until then, it might be a good idea to uninstall the KB4482887 update.
