It has been known for some time now that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Mi 4, Mi 4S, Mi 4C and Mi 5 will not receive the MIUI 11 OS overlay. Sadly, the Mi Max i Mi Max Prime models are now being added to that list. MIUI forum’s administrator has said that the reason for this is, long story short, it has too much work on its plate to be able to support older devices like the ones listed. Too bad. Lets hope that abandoning older models at least means that Xiaomi will put more effort into polishing up the new ones.
