Apple keeps on making our lives more difficult, or how it blocks unauthorized repairs of MacBook 2018 and MacBook Pro

It is no news that Apple does not like us using 3rd party services to fix our devices. The company has previously denied us the possibility of fixing screens and fingerprint scanners by unauthorized firms. Now Americans go one step ahead and take away our ability to fix many elements of the MacBook 2018 and MacBook Pro devices. Blockade pertains to the hard drive, keyboard, battery, loudspeakers, trackpad, display and Touch ID. After every time we change one of these elements, these two devices will run a diagnostic program; if the program discovers that one of parts is not an original Apple part, it will block the iOS from starting.

I am not a lawman, so I do not know whether or not Apple can legally do that; I assume they can. Still, it is a pretty dirty move. I hope that Apple’s renown will receive a serious hit due to this. Possibly it already have, seeing how iPhones dropped from 2nd to 3rd most popular smartphones on the market.
