Another story of exploding smartphone straight from America. Diana Chung, owner of Galaxy Note 9, was using her phone when she noticed that it was getting unnaturely warm. She put it back in her bag, where the device soon produce an odd ”whistling” sound and began to fume. Thankfully Mrs. Chung quickly threw the phone away, which was then successfully doused off. Nobody got hurt, except Mrs. Chung’s wallet.

The most probably suspect is phone’s malfunctioning battery, although the malfunction may have been caused by a variety of factors. Perhaps Mrs. Chung overheated her phone by using it for a long time and then putting it into a hot, stuffed bag, or maybe she left it in sun.
