Well that is sad: Samsung has officially confirmed that it will discontinue monthly security updates for the abovementioned devices. While sad, it is a standard policy for Samsung to stop updating (in other words, caring) about lesser/less successful devices after two to three years. Both of these smartphones will most probably receive any critical security updates whenever needed, but that is all.
