If you have enjoyed spending time taking care of pixel critters in late 90’s and early 2000’s, this is something for you. My Tamagotchi Forever is a remake – or a sequel. In this case it is just semantics – to Tamagotchi, a ”live creature simulator” released by Bandai in 1996. The game’s objective is the same as those twenty years ago – take care of your Tamagotchi and make sure that it grows. Afterwards – this is a new part of the game – share your progress online and compare it to that of other people.

My Tamagotchi Forever will launch on iOS and Android on March 15th. Those interested in the game can pre-register. If you register through the official website, you will get a chance to become a ”the inspiration for a brand new Tamagotchi character”, whatever that means.
