Hooray? Honor has just updated its Honor 9 and Honor 8 Pro smartphones with an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The update is, for now, only available in the UK, and there is yet no word on other regions where it will be available; UK is probably a ”testing ground” of sorts. As for the update’s content, you all know the Oreo drill by now – EMUI 8.0 interface, Android Instant Apps, picture-in-picture mode et cetera. This one lacks the EMUI Desktop feature, though.

There is no word on when, if ever, will Honor 8 get the update. Guess we will have to wait and see.
