iPhone X is not only more sought after and bought more often than iPhone 8, but it is unlocked more often as well. According to Sim-unlock’s statistics, there is at the very least a 5th more iPhone X’s on the market than there are iPhone 8’s. In other words, for every hundred iPhone 8 smartphones that are unlocked by Sim-unlock, there are 125 iPhone X devices that get the same treatment. It is not hard to see why, too; it is more expensive, granted, but iPhone X offers a much bigger technological advancement than iPhone 8, which is dubbed ”an iPhone 7, only a bit better” by many.
