According to a research by Counterpoint Research, Samsung is now the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the United Kingdom, having beaten Huawei to the spot and trailing Apple for the first place. While iPhone 7 is the best selling phone in the UK this year, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ are a close second. Samsung’s budget phones also prove to be very popular. Huawei is now a distant third favourite, showing that the main competition for affection amongst the islanders is now between Samsung and Apple.
