Perhaps this scandal is not as groundbreaking as Watergate, but it is in top five, no question about it. One Mrs. Wu from Thailand has recently uploaded a tweet with the picture of her iPhone 8 Plus (64GB) in it. Picture depicts her phone with a nasty split so wide that the front panel nearly fell off from the device. This was reportedly caused by the phone’s battery expanding as a result of its temperature drastically increasing over a period of time – in other words, battery got so hot that it got large and push the phone apart.

Device is said to have been send to Apple, which no doubt is busy analyzing the issue. So, what do you think? Is it a one-in-a-million scenario or is this the beginning of a great iPhone 8 battery crisis that will cause people to turn away from Apple and to Android, which will grow rich and powerful enough to eventually conquer the world (muahahahahahaha!)?
