Unfortunately, the update is not based in this month’s security release, meaning its software defenses are slightly out of date. Hopefully this means that another update will come out soon, this time with the newest security fixes as well.

Galaxy A5 (2017) is set to receive an OS update to Android 7.0 Nougat, but there is still no official word on when exacly will this happen.
