Refurbished Galaxy Note 7s will be released on the market, except India and U.S

Yesterday, Samsung announced that it will continue selling the discontinued Galaxy Note 7 smartphone line. Sold devices will have new batteries, replacing the faulty ones that were responsible for a large number of accidents. Suprising announcement may be caused by the actions that Greenpeace took against the company, interrupting its MWC 2017 exhibition and asking about what will the Korean giant do with millions of returned Note 7 devices. It is currently unknown whether or not will Samsung actually make good on its word or is it just a smoke screen created to avoid Greenpeace barging in on Galaxy S8’s official release. Samsung’s representative has clearly stated, though, that the refurbished phones will NOT be available neither in the United States nor in India.
