According to rumours floating on the Internet (one of their bases being a Geekbench benchmark), Lenovo plans to release modernized, 2017 versions of the whole Moto line of smartphones. Reportedly, Lenovo and Motorola will split their workforce, some working on one models and some on the others. Only the 2017 version of Moto G will be made as a team effort between the two companies, although only Moto Z (the successful line of modable smartphones) will be made solely by Motorola.
