There were two reasons for Galaxy Note 7 exploding

Samsung will hold a press release at 23 January, during which the company will officially present the reasons for a Note 7 fiasco. People are not content to wait, though, and an early report from the Wall Street Journal already informs us about the causes.

First one was, indeed, a faulty battery. Samsung had two companies producing batteries for them – Samsung SDI and Amperex Technology, the latter a Chinese company operating in Hong-Kong. The first defective batteries were from the Samsung SDI batch. When they were proven to be faulty, Samsung quickly called the phones having these batteries off the market, and pressed Amperex Technology into doubling their production. This proved to be a bad move, for an increase in production speed resaulted in faulty manufacturing, thus continuing the problem instead of ending it.

What do you guys think, truth or lie? This explanation sounds too, how to put it, good to me, too polished. Amperex, in their attempt to match their production to the needs of the market, have made exacly the same production mistake that Samsung SDI have? Accidents happen, but this sounds unlikely. Guess there is more to this case – time to call the X-Files.
