Hushme - talk via a phone without eavesdroppers (and look weird while doing so)

All of us would sometimes want to have a private phone conversation when in public, but, well, we are in public – we cannot really talk about family matters, health or that really good joke about Jews without risking someone eavesdropping on us. No more!, or, at least, no more once we buy ourselves Hushme. This, I suppose, electronic muzzle muffles its user’s voice, making it inaudible for anyone in the vicinity. The device is worn around the mouth, connects to the corresponding smartphone app and makes you look like a techster Bane – speaking of which, it will come with a voice masking feature, which will offer a variety of audio filters to alter your voice with (personally I NEED a Darth Vader one). When not used, the user can snap the muzzle apart and let it hang around her/his neck like a headset.

This handy-if-creepy gadget is made by a group of USA-based Ukrainian engineers. They will attempt a crowdfunding campaign for the device, which estimated price will be $200. There is, as of now, no release date. If you want to see the device in action, check out its promo video.
