BlackBerry Mercury screenshot leaked; confirms Android Nougat and 1620 x 1080 resolution

A bunch of new BB-branded but TCL-made phones will be presented during this week’s CES 2017. One of them will be BlackBerry Mercury. It may be an unusual phone, sporting a physical QWERTY keyboard and a small 4.5′ screen. At least now, thanks to an aforementioned leaked screenshot, we know that the display will be sharp. It will not run on any old OS, too, but on a pretty new Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to other, older leaks, the thing will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 CPU and 3 gigabytes of RAM. It will also possess 32GB of memory space, fingerprint scanner (embedded into a Space bar on the QWERTY keyboard) and a 3400mAh battery. Rumour goes that the US release of the BlackBerry Mercury will be available via Verizon.
