Li Nan, Vice-President of Meizu company, has released a statement in which he debunks earlier rumours about Meizu releasing two models at once, one being equipped with an Exynos 8890 CPU. All they will be releasing until next year (during which, Li Nan stated, Pro 7 model will be launched) will be Pro 6S. Reportedly, the Pro 6S model will only be a small improvement upon the Pro 6, the only difference being a Helio P20 CPU in place of the older Helio X25.

Planned release date for Meizu Pro 6S is late October.
