Portrait mode feature have finally made it to iPhone 7 Plus.

Portrait mode wasn’t sufficiently polished to be released along with the 7 Plus model. It’s been released now, with iOS 10.1, but, to be honest, it is still not polished – released version is a beta one. Oh well, the best quality assurance is free quality assurance.

Portraid mode uses 56mm lenses capture the image and then the 28mm ones to differentiate between the foreground and background, adding the depth of field in the process. It’s not easy to make a good photo using this mode – good lightning and proper, careful angles are neccessary – but so far, it seems like it can produce some really good-looking photos.
