Sgnl smart strap - you don't need a phone if you have a finger.

Sgnl smart strap is a Kickstarter project that may, if not revolutionize the communication industry, then at least make it look more sci-fi-like. In short, Sgnl smart strap is a watch strap connected to Bluetooth. When the strap receives a signal, it generates a voice-transmitting vibration that runs up to the user’s fingertip. When the user places his fingertip in his ear, echoes amplify the sound within it.

Sgnl will run on lithium polymer battery that supports up to 500 recharges, and needs to be recharged once per week. It will be possible to make outgoing calls with it, too – the device will be able to hold up to 5 contacts, each corresponding to a different LED light on the strap. As a bonus, the strap is water-resistant.
The watch of the future is set to ship in February 2017.
