Samsung says Galaxy Note sales have topped 5 million

Samsung has revealed that sales of the Galaxy Note, its smartphone-cum-tablet with S Pen powers, have topped 5 million units world wide. The company reached this mark in five months since the Note’s debut in South Korea. It had previously hit 1 million sales in December and then 2 million at the beginning of March, so launches in other markets, especially the U.S. with AT&T’s LTE edition of the Note, have accelerated sales.
