Samsung Commences Delivery of Android 4.0 for Galaxy S II

Samsung today announced that it has begun pushing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich system update to some variants of the Galaxy S II. The upgrade will first arrive in Poland, Hungary, Sweden, and Korea today, followed by a gradual roll out to other markets. Samsung said that the Galaxy S II LTE will also receive Android 4.0. Nokia today announced that users of Android smartphones and the iPhone can access Nokia Maps from the browser of their device. Once users point their browser to m.maps.nokia.com, the online tool offers turn-by-turn navigation for driving and public transport, and voice-guided navigation for those traveling by foot. Apple today announced a new version of iPhoto, its desktop photo editing and management software, for iOS devices including the iPhone and iPad. iPhoto for iOS supports a wide range of photo-editing features, including scrollable thumbnails, crop, rotate, exposure, contrast, saturation, and other multi-touch editing functions.
