According to the market research company Counterpoint Research, Huawei just overtook Apple and became second largest smartphone company worldwide. Ouchies, Apple… this was caused by particulary good sales of Huawei phones in June and July. Still, Apple may very well regain its 2nd best position soon, as iPhone 8 is set to release on September 12th.
