Razer’s mobile division is going through various changes. It has been confirmed that a number of Ryzer’s employees will be laid off, and others will be moved to projects other than Razer 3. The company is supposed to put much more effort into its mobile games division, leaving other projects underpowered, if not outright abandoned. There has been no official word on whether or not the work on Ryzer 3 smartphone has been cancelled but, judging by its predecessor’s low sales, I would not get my hopes ...

Sony resets its smartphones’ naming conventions
It looks like Sony wants to shake things up, at least a little. The company is changing names for its two series: the upcoming Xperii XA will be called Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus, while the soon-to-be-released Xperia XZ4 will do so under a somewhat mind-boggling name Xperia 1 (flashbacks from Battlefield 1 being the FOURTH GAME in the series). The number 1 in the name is supposed to suggest that the device will be all fresh and new and sparkling. Will it, though? Some of the more interesting parts of Xperia 1’s specs are rumoured to be the 21:9 aspect ratio display, separate screen ...
Nike smart sneakers will not tie their laces after the last software update
We have come a day and age where your shoes can be gimped by failed software. Nike’s Adapt BB smart sneakers are going through a small crisis due to a bug in their programming. Android users owning these shoes now say that the latest update causes the built-in motor to stop working; alternatively, their smartphones have issues synchronizing with either left or right shoe. So far there is no way to fix these problems – not even a hard reset (talk about rebooting) helps. Nike is, reportedly, ”actively working to resolve” the issue.Go easy on them. Imagine yourself ...

Huawei will soon open its first non-China store
This summer, Huawei will open its very first physical store outside of China, and it will be placed in Vienna, Austria. This is not overly surprising, as Huawei is providing 5G networking equipment to Austria’s three large carriers (even if one of them, Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile Austria, have agreed the U.S. regulators’ request to stop using Huawei gear). Attempt to open a store in the U.S. would be doomed to failure, as their lawmakers push towards unsanctioning Huawei’s services throughout most of the world and consider the company a national security risk. ...
Facebook graciously allows us to not be spied upon 24/7
Thank you, oh great one! Many people do not know this, but there is actually an option to turn off Facebook’s phone tracking. It is turned on by default, naturally, but after turning it off it not only stops FB from spying on you but also helps save a significant portion of battery’s life. Facebook must have noticed that more and more people started using this option, since the company now offers an intermediate solution – you can choose to allow FB to know your location but only when the FB mobile app is turned on. This would allow you to keep some of your privacy and ...

Nokia 2.1 receives Android 9 Pie OS update
Nokia 2.1 may be a darn budget phone, but that will not stop it from being upgraded to the latest Android operating system. It is a remarkable feat, mostly because of Nokia 2.1’s very humble specs: this 5.5′ smartphone runs Snapdragon 425 processor and only one gigabyte of RAM. Even despite these low specs, Android 9 Pie reportedly runs quite well on the budget device, meaning that the update is not at all unwelcome. This, though, does not mean that you can get this phone if you are from the US: Nokia 2.1 is still unavailable in the land of freedom, capitalism and apple ...
Medio Exodus has not even been out for a week yet, and it has already been cracked
Denuvo has failed yet again. While everyone understands that this anti-piracy software can not protect any game forever, this time it failed to defend a game for even a week – and first week is very important to any video game’s sales. The latest victim of internet piracy is Metro Exodus, newest entry in the popular series based on a post-apocalypse Russian novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. The game has been cracked yesterday – Denuvo was enough to protect it for full five days. Yay.Even though you can get Metro Exodus for free now, please, do not. Buy an original copy. You ...
