Nokia 2.1 may be a darn budget phone, but that will not stop it from being upgraded to the latest Android operating system. It is a remarkable feat, mostly because of Nokia 2.1’s very humble specs: this 5.5′ smartphone runs Snapdragon 425 processor and only one gigabyte of RAM. Even despite these low specs, Android 9 Pie reportedly runs quite well on the budget device, meaning that the update is not at all unwelcome.
This, though, does not mean that you can get this phone if you are from the US: Nokia 2.1 is still unavailable in the land of freedom, capitalism and apple pie.
