Elder Scrolls: Blades is a mobile game taking place in The Elder Scrolls universe (also known, by the uneducated, as ”that Skyrim place”). Game’s reveal trailer is available here. It can be treated as mobile Skyrim, but that does not really tell the whole story, or so it seems. Blades can be played in one of three gameplay modes: Abyss, where the player traverses a procedurally generated dungeon, Town, where the focus of the game is building up your own place by completing quests and Arena, which is all about fighting enemies with particular sets of rules. Little is known about the game’s plot except that, as is custom in TES, you start off as a prisoner. Game will be playable both vertically and horizontally. Progress will be saved in a cloud.
The game is available now as a betatest version. PC version is supposed to be also in the works. Neat.
