Galaxy S8 is rumoured to be a very powerful phone with possibly the strongest specs on the market. Having the best thing around will be cool, but what if someone wants to have a performance better than the best available? Samsung must have thought of that when they (allegedly – it is only a rumour) implemented “beast mode” into their upcoming flagship. All we know is that GalaxyClub has spotted Samsung applying to trademark the term, so it can actually mean anything. But I like to think that beast mode will be a total overdrive mode in which phone will enter a super-high performance settings, probably at the cost of higher power output. Maybe it will transform into a little miniature of a gorilla or t-rex, too, who knows*. What would this super performance be needed for? VR, possibly, or making full use of the 4k screen.
