Android 8.0 Oreo beta has been available for US and UK Galaxy S8 ad S8+ phones for a while now. A week ago a new version of the OS' beta was released in the United Kingdom; now it has made its way to the United States as well. So, what new features and updates does the build number G955USQU1ZQK6 offer?
- option to change the opacity of notifications,
- number of new clock styles for Always On Display,
- Smart View feature that allows the phone's screen to turn dark when the device is mirroring to a TV,
- October security update,
- some stability improvements.
It is unknown whether or not all of these features will remain in the full release of the OS for Galaxy S8/S8+.
