The source of the leak is unknown, so treat it with a pinch of salt larger than usual. Alcatel Idol 5 is rumoured to have a 5.2' screen that displays 1080p resolution and uses an IPS panel. The rest of the phone's known specification is said to look like this:

- 2800mAh battery,
- Android 7.0 Nougat OS,
- 16GB ROM,
- fingerprint scanner,
- 13mpx front camera,
- MediaTek MT6735 CPU.

So, as you can see, much is still not known about the device. We will learn everything soon, though, as Alcatel Idol 5 is set to be revealed during the IFA 2017 in Berlin, between 1st and 6th of September. Phone's price will be something around 399 euro.
