Apple phones are recognized as probably the most difficult smartphones to find vulnerabilities in. Therefore it is all the bigger news when someone manages to make a dent in their proverbial armour. Alibaba Pandora Lab is one such group of people. The group claims that they have achieved an untethered jailbreak of iOS 11.2.1 on an iPhone X device. The proof of the group's boast is a picture with an iPhone X with two Apple-unsanctioned apps, Pandora and Cydia, installed.

Pandora Lab will not release their jailbreak tool. The group just wanted to proove that jailbreak is possible.
