Verizon releases first OTA update for Galaxy Note 8

Which is hilarious, because Galaxy Note 8 only just comes out today. But hey, this is 21st century, I should be used to day one updates by now. Anyhoo, the update's kernel version is 4.4.21. It will turn Verizon's Galaxy Note 8 software version to N950USQU1AQI5.

What is the update's changelog? Oh, the usual. It fixes some bugs and improves phone's performance and stability. It also improves the stability of Google Maps and Navigation apps and Weather widget. The update does not, uhm, update phone's security featues to September, so you will have to wait for that one separately.

While Verizon's update is already out, it will not reach every unit of Galaxy Note 8 at the same time. Do not worry, you may have to wait a day or two but it will reach you eventually. Just make sure to, when it does, charge your phone and have it connected to a wi-fi.
