Panasonic Eluga Tapp - Panasonic takes phone security seriously (?)

Rs.8,990 is the price you will have to pay if you wish to buy Panasonic India's new smartphone. This one's main selling point is a supposedly ultra-fast front fingerprint scanner and an implemention of One Touch security tech - otherwise, Eluga Tapp's a mid-ranger. Another interesting feature of the phone is Android for Work, app that allows the user to segregate business and "normal" apps.

Panasonic Eluga Tapp's specification is:

- 5 inch full-HD IPS display,
- quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz,
- 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, microSD up to 32GB,
- 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera,
- Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS,
- 2800mAh battery,
- all the newest connectivity features.

Pankaj Rana, Business Head of the Mobility Division of Panasonic India, made a statement about how security should be the top concern of smartphone companies. Do you agree, or are there more pressing matters regarding mobile devices? Let me know.
