Samsung did not yet offer powerful phone in a compact size. The last such model is the Galaxy S5 Mini, which is greatly inferior to its big brother, not only in the dimensions, but also in specifications. Now apparently it is about to change.
According to rumors originating from China, Samsung will release this year compact size phone, but will be equally powerfull as the flagship S7. Samsung Galaxy Mini S7 - because thats how its reportedly going to be called - will be equipped with 4.6-inch HD display, 3GB of RAM and a 12 megapixel camera, presumably such as the S7.
The heart of the phone is going to be a Snapdragon processor 820 or Exynos 8890.
Described model would compete with the iPhone SE, which we expect to see at the Spring Conference from Apple.
The Chinese speak of another piece of equipment in compact Samsung flagship model. Which are the lens with 3x optical zoom 24-700 mm. It is not clear however, whether it would be built into the camera lens on the phone, or rather will take the form of additional accessory. More likely is the second of the possibilities, because the Samsung Galaxy Mini S7 is going to have a casing with a thickness of 9.9 mm, in which the zoom mechanism rather would not fit.
