Apple to offer its nano-SIM design royalty-free if approved

Apple is in a bit of a battle with Nokia, RIM, and Motorola over the proposed standard for the next generation of SIM cards, commonly called nano-SIM. Apple has proposed a different design than the other manufacturers, but new evidence has sprung up that says that Apple will offer the design to other phone makers royalty-free if it is approved.
