This phone's specs look pretty much regular: IPS 5,71' display, 1520 x 720 p resolution, Helio A22 CPU, 3GB RAM and 64GB storage, 3020mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, 13 Mpix main camera and 5 Mpix selfie shooter. All standard, mid-ranger stuff. Honor 8S gets more interesting when you begin to look at its, well, looks. The phone's rear is, unlike majority of smartphones', rugged; it is that way so that the device can be better held in hand. The only smooth part of the rear is a thin side strip where the camera is positioned. Not bad.
