Yaay, hurray, yuppie. Samsung has just released the Galaxy A8 and A8+ smartphones. Successors to the A5 and A7 devices, both phones will be released in Europe and the US of A in early 2018. Their european price will be €499 and €599. For now we do not know when nor where exacly will these two be available.
As for specifications, both phones feature 18.5:9 aspect ratio Infinity Displays with thin bezels (5.6' for Galaxy A8, 6' for Galaxy A8+), displaying 1080p resolution. Both will have VR capabilities, front-facing, dual-sensor 16mpx + 8mpx main camera, Live Focus feature, 16mpx rear camera with Hyperlapse, USB-C support and an IP68 waterproof certificate. Galaxy A8 will be powered by a 3000mAh battery, while A8+ will have the support of a 3500mAh one. Both will be ran by Android 7.1 Nougat OS, with the possible future upgrade to Oreo.
