According to the Economic Daily News, the production of iPhone SE2, successor to the popular mini-phone iPhone SE from 2016, has either already started or will start soon. This, along with an earlier report by Focus Taiwan, suggests a relatively near release date, almost certainly the first quarter of 2018. Seeing how iPhone SE was revealed in March 2016 and released a month later, it can be assumed that iPhone SE2 will do the same.
Alleged specifications of iPhone SE2 include:
- A10 Fusion CPU,
- 2GB RAM, 32 and 64GB ROM versions,
- 12mpx main camera, 5mpx selfie shooter,
- fingerprint scanner,
- 1700mAh battery.
