In more Verizon news, this arguably most popular US phone carrier has just released an Android 7.0 Nougat update for HTC Desire 530 smartphones. The update comes off as a surprise, seeing how Desire 530 is a rather budget phone, but hey, good for us. Changes include August security patch. Also, do not count on future updates - Verizon has been generous as it is.
Before downloading & installing the update, make sure that your phone is charged and connected to the wi-fi. It will take roughly 1.5GB of storage memory, so delete those naughty pictures to make room.
