These two devices are not new to Sim-unlock.net, so I will spare you their whole story. Instead, lets focus on what is now known about the devices.
Moto G5S and G5S Plus are sequels to well received mid-rangers released in March 2017 - Moto G5 and, you guessed it, Moto G5 Plus. For an upgrade of a device that is only five months old, new G5S' house a significant number of changes:
Moto G5S:
- all metal cover,
- 16mpx main camera, 5mpx selfie shooter with LED flash,
- 3000mAh battery,
- 1.4GHz CPU,
- 5.2' display.
Moto G5S Plus:
- again, all metal cover,
- 13mpx dual camera setup, 8mpx selfie shooter with LED flash,
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.0 GHz CPU, 8-core,
- 5.5' screen.
What both these phones have in common is running on Android Nougat, featuring fingerprint scanner and complete set of latest Moto Experiences. They will become available ” in various countries globally” later this month, though they will not appear in the US until Autumn. Their launch prices will be €249/$294 for Moto G5S and €299/$353 for Moto G5S Plus.
