According to what we know, Snapdragon 840 is ”just” a slightly upgraded version of Snapdragon 820 - quad-core, running at 1.77GHz. Judging by both this and what little else we know of the rest of the phone's specification (4GB RAM, Android 7.1.2 OS), some believe that SM-G9600 is either Galaxy S8 Lite or Galaxy S8 Mini.
