Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, one Juho Sarvikas, has just announced via Twitter that the Android 9 Pie rollout for Nokia 7.1 smartphones will begin soon. The update introduces such features as gesture controls, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness modes and more. Exact date of the rollout is unknown, but presumed to take place soon.
