Some time ago I wrote a small post about how Nokia 8 will be available in the land of freedom, justice and apple pie, but now this news has been, unfortunately, debunked. The above screen of a message written by Rex Fryhover, head of sales for HMD Global's US branch, explains why it is so. The term ”not properly banded for the US” probably means connectivity bands for mobile data and telecoms.
Sorry, Americans! There is always hope that Nokia will change its mind, or maybe it is just an innocent mistake and/or accidental misinformation.
