Revolution!/meh, or what do the people think about iOS 11

iOS 11 has been out for a new days now and the Internet is full with it. You can read about it on Forbes, on MacRumors, Gizmodo, 9to5Mac... everywhere. Sim-unlock.net too, naturally. While it is all well and good to know what the more-or-less professionalists think about the OS, but I think one should also know the ”little man's” opinion. That is why I scoured the web in search of people's comments about the iOS 11 and gathered them into a small compendium for you to enjoy:

- few people treat iOS 11 as a revolution. Most users consider it an evolution instead. New OS does most things well, while still requiring a few patches to fix some issues,
- iOS 11 does not work well on most older Apple devices. You can risk installing it on iPhone 7 or lower, but it will probably slow down these devices significantly,
- on the other hand, I have seen opinions like ”iPhone 5S' performance improved significantly”, but maybe these are just exceptions from a rule,
- update weights almost two gigabytes, so make sure to plug in your phone before downloading it,
- iPad Dock, the small bar on the bottom of the screen is said to be a very useful little tool. You can choose a number of apps to always be in your reach,
- ”one hand writing hehehe something that Androidh has had for ages. IOS as always is a hundred years behind times”. Naturally, roughly third of comments are made by Android fans.
