We all remeber two cases in which FBI asked Apple to help in unlocking
iPhones of people accused of terrorism. After refuse and loss in the court
FBI done it without help. And guess what? Apple now announced that Kernel in
iOS 10 will not be encrypted - official reason is maximizing
performance.
If you're thinking what it can mean for normal users you're
smart ones. In optimal case nothing but opening previous encripted Kernel can
couse loss in security and openning for expoiters and mallware. Apple doesn't
offer any payments for security researchers from external firms.
