Unlocking instruction for Motorola Defy ?


The unlocking Motorola Defy process is very simple it only takes 3 steps.

1. Insert an unaccepted simcard to your Motorola Defy (unaccepted means from a different carrier, not the one where you bought the device)
2. Message input unlock code should appear
**In special cases you might try a #073887* sequence to force your device to ask for an unlock code.
3. Enter unlock code provided by sim-unlock.net
4. Motorola Defy is unlocked.

Delivery of the code for my Motorola Defy (MB525) was faster than expected, thanks Maybe it's of interest for someone: The code seems only to work with stock ROM not custom ROMs à la CyanogenMod (but once you've unlocked it on stock you can change to a custom one again without getting locked). Worked perfectly
