Two of the largest Android phone producers, HTC and Motorola, have vehemently stated that they do NOT, repeat, do NOT slow down their phones’ processors when their batteries get old. Apple’s coming out (more like being made to come out) has put other manufacturers into a state of mild panick, making everyone to stand up, raise their hand and proclamate that they do not do that thing that evil Apple does, no sir, never ever. HTC and Motorola are the first large smartphone producers to do so; Samsung, Google and LG are believed to follow suit soon.
