HTC 11/U coming up soon

Decide which name you like better for yourself, I will go with HTC U. When talking about this smartphone, whatever you call it, it is important to remember that it is not going to be a flagship. Why? Because it does not have the newest CPU. Snapdragon 821 is by no means a bad chipset, but lets face it, it isn’t the best either. With this out of the way, lets take a look at what we know about the device’s specification:

– the aforementioned Snapdragon 821 CPU, 4-core,
– 3000mAh battery,
– 6GB RAM.

There are many, many rumours on the device’s specification besides that. Some say it will have 64GB of internal memory, while some swear it will be 128GB. Some believe it will have a dual 24mp and 13mp camera. There are rumours of a Quick Charge 4.0 feature included and a battery that may be 3000, 3500 or 3750mAh. If Evan Blass is to be believed, and he usually is, HTC is waiting for a shipment of CPU’s to complete the production cycle for HTC U. If everything goes well, it’ll be announced by the end of April and revealed some time in May.
