Yes we know, that you already heard this, but more sources report this fact, which makes is more beliveable each time.

There are also new information about a redesigned MacBook Air with an M2 chip and wireless charging for the 2022 iPad Pro.

New MacBook Air will have an octa-core CPU and 9- or 10-core GPU, which would be an upgrade over the 8-core GPU on the current Air. Also the M2 chip will be a bit faster than the older version, which will make the device run better.
