Why? Simple – coronavirus. Four of the people working on the show have been infected with the COVID-19, and the rest of the staff is currently being tested. If you wonder why there are infected staff members, well, just think about all that making movies or shows entail. It is really difficult to keep a safe distance between people at all times.

This is a second time when COVID-19 interrupts production of The Witcher. We do not know when will the work start again; it can be assumed it will happen after all the staff is back at work, which means in roughly two weeks.
